hello..my last name is Fry, my mothers last name is Couturier. I have been looking into my ancestry and found this page. So here is a little bit about what I have found.

I will start from 1803...Mary Metwaikemekenang was bornin 1803 and died in 1883 she was part of the Wahnapitae 1st Nations, Tahgaiwenene's Band ( Sudbury On. area). She married Fracois Tranche-montage. They had a daughter named Marianne "marie" Bemanakingang aka Bernard, she was born in 1848 and died in 1947, she married Francis Xavier Pillon (born1853-1927) . They had a daughter Mary Jane Pillon ( my great grandmother)who was born in 1884 in Manitoulin On. She married Pierre Couturier (great grandfather) who was born 1866 and died in 1945. they had a son named Joseph Douglas Couturier (my grandfather) born 1904 and he married Ida MacCullum (my grandmother) born 1913 and they had a daughter named Sharon Couturier born 1947 ( my mother), married Gerald Fry, born 1942(my father) then there's me Noralee Fry born 1963

not sure if this is same family , but sounds like it might be. there are lots of past family that lived in Quebec, and also in Killarny On
